The Historical Diving Society USA is a 501c3 non-profit organization which conducts its works and produces the quarterly Journal of Diving History magazine and relies on financial support from several key revenue streams.
Memberships, individual donations, corporate sponsorships and merchandise sales all combine to help make the valuable works of the HDS possible. Nearly every major dive industry corporation is a current HDS sponsor. The leadership of these influential companies also understand the value of preserving industry history via the Historical Diving Society.
There are other possible forms of support as well. If you have vintage dive equipment in display-quality condition, ie; dive helmets, regulators, camera equipment, diving publications or books, all these items could be considered as a tax-deductible donation to the HDS and could be displayed at several museum outlets that the HDS is affiliated with, or be used as auction/raffle items to help offset our operational costs.
Regardless of what form of commitment you, your family, friends or colleagues can make towards the HDS, please do so with the understanding that our important work towards documenting and preserving dive industry history is directly linked to that support.
Thank you for assisting in the effort.
